お父ちゃんのたんじょうび （Dad's B-Day）

This weekend is my father's birthday weekend as per our family tradition, and much to my brother's chagrin today we dug out the remaining front landscaping. While they excavated the front, I planted this year's garden, digging in the soil damp from last night's thunder storm. Now, all the vegetables and herbs are in the ground and the rest of this weekend will be spent with my dad.
Tomorrow to the movie theater and then my mom is going to make dad's favorite banana pudding and whatever else my dad has planned!
