When we opened up the package that we received this afternoon from Japan, Nick remarked, "It's like Christmas!". I'm still surprised at how many things our friends were able to pack into that box. Eric kept taking things out, "here's more!" We spent about an hour sitting in the family room, looking at the photo book, reading newspapers and enjoying the memories from a month ago.
Tomorrow morning my parents and I will probably make some of the tea that arrived today. And with the new Mucc and Bump of Chicken music , watering the gardens and math is going to be so much more fun!

On another note, the latest news on our move to Chicago next March. We finally have some pictures of what our apartment there could look like. This is still a tentative list, there might be more to choose from or this could be all. The following two places are all Ford has told up about so far.
The one building we like the most, The Shoreham, is close to everything we could want and it's next to Lake Michigan, parks and a beach. The second building, The Grand, we know of is more in the city and farther from the everything mentioned above, except for Whole Foods market. That could have been a little troubling, but we hope to find smaller private shops and stores instead of only a large market; experiment and explore a little.
Now, to go and enjoy the cookies from Japan!
