Another animal visitor, this time perching himself in the maple tree instead of the pear. Today's visitor, a bright red cardinal.

Despite a weather report calling for bright, sunny and warm, today was rainy, cool and cloudy. But it makes a somewhat decent background for a vibrant red bird.

And finally, the tea time (although we had coffee) snack Mom made specially this morning. Chocolate pudding made from tofu and ripe strawberries coupled nicely with Dad's delightfully bitter coffee.
