Pink and white echinacea flowers. They again spread this year; in a few years I'll be able the harvest the root and make tinctures.

Black-eyed Susan. This little one was a surprise because we'd thought it had died last year when we were in Chicago. But no, it's still surviving.

The hydrangea have begun to bloom. Now the space next to the compost is decorated with pastel pink against a background of luscious greenery.
