Halfway through the week! And only six days to go!!
じゃあね!
The only rose left untouched by the beetles. Most of the pesky six-legged beetles seem to disappeared for this year. so now the roses can bloom in safely.
Several of what I think are going to be yellow tomatoes have formed. The one time we had given up on growing vegetables and we get this, a tomato plant and melon vine, and they're doing very well! Much better than when we actually tried to grown them.
The remains of bird eggs in the nest which seems to have become a permanent feature of the blue spruce pine tree. Probably a morning dove's nest from this spring.
The melon continues to swell!! Dad and I think it might be a honeydew melon. With all the rain we've had in the past few days, we will have a good sized fruit this fall!
It's finally cooled down!! We opened the windows last night to let the house air out and allow new air in. There really is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and wind gently blowing in.
