One school week over!!! Now for three days of rest and occasional studying before the start of another four days at WCC campus.
Although, it being the end of the week has another less appreciated meaning; a meaning I prefer not to think about.

Last week, the six of us traveled to Mackinac Island by way of the ferry to and from St. Ignace.

Approaching the Mackinac Bridge!!

After arriving at the hotel, we walked around the hotel property and to the lakeshore of Lake Huron.

Looking across at Mackinac Island--where we took the ferry to the next day after a good night's rest after a five hour drive from Ann Arbor.

The hotel building we bunked in on the second floor looking out at the lake.

The next morning, we boarded a ferry.

Another ferry en route.

The Mackinac Bridge from the top deck of the ferry.

Inside the Mackinac Island Fort watching a display of the old fashioned weaponry used to defend the fort from enemies.

Looking out from the fort at the town and docks below.

Walking to the famous Grand Hotel.

After the hotel, we wandered the streets looking at the houses and various buildings on the island before taking the ferry back across to the town of St. Ignace.

We drove back down to Ypsilanti the next morning for several days of being at home just the six of us.

じゃあね!
