Fish! We have fish now! Our landlord brought several bright orange/red koi and let them go in the small pond we have near the garage. We had a few issues getting the filter and pump to stay on and keep the pond water clean and suitable for life.
But, the issues were solved and we have many little, and some not to little, fish swimming around in the pond!

The landlord gave us nine fish, but they were moving so much I could only get a picture of these three. They like to swim together, one fish leading the others as they make their way around the pond.

We also bought a few on our own to add to the group of growing animals.

We bought three more koi and two plecos to add to the "fish family". Sadly, the plecos didn't survive the change, but the three koi did.

We also got some new plants to add to the flora of the pond. We landlord had this water lily growing the pond for awhile, before we arrived, and recently it bloomed! It was gorgeous and bloomed for a few days.
