Everything is back to normal now, the basement floor replaced, all the water gone and it's even organized now. Mother Nature made sure we got our act together this time around!
On a lighter note, everything here is turning green again, the grass getting thicker, the strawberry plants also sprouting new green foliage. After the last two days of rain our sage is coming back to life, the tulips are blooming bright yellow and the robins have started nesting in our pine trees! Only one more month until planting season! The sunlight feels warmer and the cold winds left from winter are beginning to cease. Though, we all still miss Ohanami (cherry blossom season), picnicking in the park and being with friends, this time makes me miss living in Hiroshima.
