It's surely spring now. A day or so ago, when I was putting breakfast together, I spied the brightest blue Eastern Blue bird out the kitchen window above the sink. The beautiful creature had alighted in the branches of our pear tree. Mom ran to get the camera before he flew away but, unfortunately, he took flight before she returned. Although, not long after the blue bird took off, a red-headed bird to refuge in the same pear tree and then proceeded to play in the empty garden bins. This time, though, I had the camera in hand.
