This morning I had a companion as I put together this morning's tea. One of the several squirrels come from the woods out behind the house and settled into the branches of first the cherry tree and then the pear tree. He nibbled on something he had with him in the pear tree boughs as I poured chai tea into everyone's teacup. He was a welcome visitor on a rainy cold day like today.
