Rainy days lately, here in Michigan. But it has been a wonderful break from the hotter weather; the makings for a restful weekend.

All of the herbs have grown faster than I had expected. I use the culinary herbs almost everyday, putting them into meals where I can fit them, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the last picture, the catnip plant has more than tripled in size and looks very healthy! This is the reason I love gardening. Watching the plants grow and find a good, solid rooting in the soil is absolutely blissful.
