Yesterday was a great day, from the morning to the evening it was great. Today, everyone is a little mellow, especially me. But that's not important. Since last week we had my mom's family over for a Father's Day get-together, we made this weekend Dad's weekend. So, yesterday mom made a vegan version of dad's favorite dessert: banana pudding.

Banana pudding with strawberries. Mom said it was one of the easiest things to make, but you couldn't taste it. It was one of mom's best recipes yet. A complete success.

And finally the lavender it readying for flowering. Yet another harvesting season is coming around the corner. And it's a good thing, since most of the lavender tea I made in the past few years has lost it's potency, and needs to be made anew.

So, while everyone was busy digesting the banana pudding, we strolled around the yard for a little while, checking in on all of the plants enjoyed the scene a few years of work have created.
