Yesterday morning as Mom and I were putting together breakfast, I noticed that the gold finches seem to have taken a liking to the catnip. They sit on the branches and pick something from the flowering ends.

There were three finches in the yard, so maybe they will nest here since it's around the time they settle to nest. Their chirping is the best to wake up to.
