Brick Laid

Well, it would appear that the major projects out of doors have been completed! As previously posted, the entire front has a new look, new bushes, plants and trees; The gardens planted and growing well, the first of the tomatoes has already begun forming little fruit, and raspberries ad strawberries are going to give much fruit this year, too. And yesterday, we dug ditches, sand poured and the bricks placed around the open portion of our front landscaping and around a a group of three bushes in back. It looks much more finished now, closed in and the grass and bushes clearly separated for the eye. Though it was hoped for, the bricks for our landscaping completely match those of our patio. It's amazing how everything goes together like that. My mom mentioned going to a park for a picnic but we all agreed we would rather stay home and picnic in our backyard instead!
Next project we're working on next weekend is painting the inside of the house, starting with my brothers and my room… We'll see how that challenge turns out!

Our ground cover found it nice enough to flower already! Though it is the only one to flower, the rest will hopefully join in next year!
