Today starts the weekend, and another painting session. This time we're changing the color of my parents and the two bathrooms upstairs. We've got two interesting colors, the first is Garbanzo for my mom and dad's room and then Lime Juice for the bathrooms! It should turn out good, since my dad helped decide the colors and he's pretty good at visualizing the color on the wall.
Yesterday I had already started taping, which is the longest and most tedious of all the tasks related to painting but it is also the most important. We've also gotten new lights for the bathrooms. Like, my mom said, we're "putting our personal touches on the house".
And it's a little strange, this is the house we've had the most trouble with but the one we're mostly likely to stay in. However, it's also the most like home, the least temporary for some reason.
Now that the rain has stopped I have to go and cover the strawberries with a net, the robins have been eating the berries even before they are ripe! Otherwise we won't get any!
