This afternoon, my mom and I walked to the ponds even though there was a little snow on the ground. According to the weather channel, it was below freezing temperature. But outside in the sunshine, it was beautiful. We didn't even wear coats, just sweatshirts and that was enough. The air was cool and crisp and no mosquitoes (which was great!). While we were walking passed this one pond, we both stopped to look at the amazing scene. Though I didn't have the camera with me, my mom volunteered her cellphone. The pond was frozen, the trees bare and small snow drifts carved lines into the surface of the iced water. A beautiful sight...

Once again, a visit from the tiny Eastern Blue Bird... but surveying the strawberry bin this time.
(Title means "Walk at noon.")
