Abrams Waterfall

This trail was the farthest from our condo, about an hour drive compared to the ten to fifteen minute drives to Alum Cave and Potter's Creek. We had to drive through the national park on a gravel road, following a long line of other people sightseeing. It was very slow because a little way from the road, groups of deer were gathered feeding on the vegetation. Many people stopped in the middle of the road to take pictures of the four-legged creatures (White Tailed Deer).
Once we finally got the the trail entrance, everyone sprung out of the car and quickly pulled gloves and hats on, even though half way through the hike we would take them off.
This trail was a very good hike. More difficult because the trail was strewn with stones (tripping hazards) and a narrower path. But the end of the trail was worth it; a waterfall which has the most water falling over it in the entire park. The torrents of water flowed over into another river which continued through the forest.
