Starting this morning, snow has been falling steadily with no wind to disturb it. The temperature is not bitterly cold either, so the snow fell with large flakes. And before my dad returned home from work, my brothers and I wrapped up in jackets, grabbed the snow shovels and cleared the drive of five inches (12 cm) of snow.
Hopefully the temperature doesn't fall much more and my mom and I can hike in the woods behind our house this coming weekend! I can't wait to walk between the snow covered trees and beneath the cloudless blue sky after a snowfall again!
