Back in Michigan once again. Got into town Friday afternoon and started in on the chores waiting here for us; my brothers and I did the house work while my mom did the grocery shopping and my dad was on the road heading toward Michigan.
It has been a quiet weekend here, sleeping in (or at least trying to sleep in), leisurely passing the time with coffee in hand and a fire blazing in the fireplace. But the past two days have gone fast and Monday is looming.
But on a slightly brighter note, fall has come to Michigan in a very bright way. Last year the leaves did not really turn color as so much as dry up, turn brown and drop to the ground. But this year, the leaves are outstanding, vibrant.
