*The beginning to our trip is Quebec and the above are links to their respective posts.
The Last stop was Niagara Falls, it being the closest to home. We got into town after dark, tired and ready to find something for dinner since we hadn't eaten since breakfast.
Thanks to my mom and her research we were able to get a hotel room that over looked the Niagara Falls, and were able to see over the falls and just how massive the river is.
The area around the falls was much more built up than I had thought. Many towering buildings and even a casino. It looked like pictures of Las Vegas; high hotel buildings, bright lights and huge signs flashing their existence. I wasn't that impressed with the town.
The next morning, we traveled down to the walkway the runs beside the cliff of the waterfall. The closer we got to the falls, we began to get drenched. The water hitting the rocks propelled drops high above us and then came back down. It was like we had just been through a rain storm! But the view was amazing.
The view from our twelfth floor hotel room.
Our Hotel.
And the rainbow at the end of the journey.
All in all, it was a very, very good trip. We learned a lot and got to see somewhere we had always wanted to visit. じゃね。
